Where were you on September 11, 2001 at 8:46AM? I was moving from math to history class in 8th grade, when I walked by the large TV as the 2nd plane crashed into the 2nd World Trade Center Tower. It’s something I’ll never forget. Where were you?
This day comes around every year. Every year we are all hustling to reach deadlines and often forget about that tragic event that took place 13 years ago. However, when we sit at our desk and look at a calendar and see the date 9/11, we stop and remember where we were and remember everyone who lost their lives that day. These people, this event will never be forgotten. It’s something that grips us as Americans. Though West Tennessee is 1,095 miles away from New York City, we still grieve with the entire country today. All around people are remembering. How will you?
