Home of Blues and Rock n Roll, Memphis has been graced with artist who walked Beale Street, recorded at Sun Records and Stax Records and changed the sound of music all over the world. From W.C. Handy, Isaac Hayes, B.B. King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Otis Redding, Elvis Presley, Tina Turner and many more have left and continue to leave their mark in Music History. Music is vital part of Memphians’ history and culture. Justin Timberlake, from Millington, was inspired by this rich and diverse sound and helps bring a modern approach to Blues and Rock n Roll. 
B.B. King might not be singing down Beale Street and Elvis might not be singing and dancing at Sun Studios, but these artists stories and sound haven’t been forgotten. Whether you are visiting Graceland or the Rock n Soul Museum or listening to a new band at Sunset on the Square in Collierville or at Levitt Shell in Memphis, there is no doubt that the Memphis is home to great music.
