This past Wednesday, the City of Germantown and Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce held a Tourism and Visitors’ Event to launch the city’s tourist attractions. Tourism is one of the largest growing industries in Tennessee and Germantown realized that they have a lot to offer. From a large collection of parks, greenway trails, unique food and shops and the home to the Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC), this city is “open for business!”
Bobby Lanier Farm Park is a unique park promoting, educating and demonstrating sustainable and healthy lifestyle. Though the park is only 10 acres, there’s something to do everywhere! Every Thursday, now to August 28, they have a Farmer’s Market. There’s local produce for sale and live music!
Did you know that you can walk/bike ride from Memphis to Germantown? This is all through the Greenway Trails. So hop on and head out to Germantown!
