Rock the Block

Rock the Block – a partnership event hosted by Gateway Baptist Church and the Town of Atoka – is a summer tradition in Atoka!

FOOD
Free community picnic will be offered including hot dogs, chips, drinks, snow cones and watermelon. Food will be on a first come-first served basis so plan to arrive early. Seating will be limited so bring your lawn chairs and blankets for grass seating.

ACTIVITIES
Bounce houses, face painting, photo booths, splash pad activities, dunk tank, sand volleyball and more! Activities will be available from 7-9pm. We’ll enjoy live music throughout the evening on the main stage. Then, after dark, FIREWORKS from the heart of Walker Park. All activities are free.

PARKING
Parking at Atoka Elementary with free shuttle service to Walker Park. Shuttle service will begin running at 6 pm and will end when all guests have left Walker Park.
Parking at Walker Park will be limited to handicap-tagged vehicles only.
On-street parking will be allowed in the emergency lane on Meade Lake Road, in the Templeton Farms subdivision and on side streets off

Walker Parkway including Stroud Circle, Edith Lane and Bouler Drive. Police officers will be available to assist pedestrians in crossing at Meade Lake Road and Walker Parkway.
On-street parking will not be allowed on Walker Parkway (east of Meade Lake Road), Farmers Trail or Kearns Circle. Vehicles parked in those areas will be subject to ticketing and towing.
