11/21 – RACES: Fit for a King 5K & Fun Run – Atoka, TN

The Fit for a King 5K and Kids 1 mile fun run will start and finish at Gateway Baptist Church in Atoka, TN. The 5K will begin promptly at 10:00 am. The Kids 1 mile fun run will begin after the last 5k participant crosses the finish line, approximately 11 am. This event is being held to raise money for a local family who is in the process of adopting a special needs child from China. Jennifer and Matt King live in Munford, TN along with their two children Canaan (12) and Hadlee (6) and they feel that God has called them to grow their family through special needs adoption. Unfortunately, the cost of adoption is very expensive and this benefit is being held to raise money for this family. After the race, a BBQ cooking team will be selling a BBQ Sack lunch with a proceeds going directly to the family. The cost of the lunch will be $5 per race participant and $6 for any other individual who would like to help this family.
