11/21 – RACES: House of Mews Meowathon 5K – Memphis, TN

Our 12th Annual “Meowathon” 5k Run/Walk benefiting The House of Mews will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015. Registration starts at 7:30 am with the race at 9 a.m. in Overton Park in midtown Memphis, TN (enter off of East Parkway, between Poplar and Sam Cooper). Our event features a SILENT AUCTION, door prizes and refreshments. Walkers welcome! If you cannot run/walk, please consider sponsoring a cat for the day. T-shirt is guaranteed for participants pre-registered by November 15 only. We offer MRTC members a $1 discount through November 15 (code: MRTC). The House of Mews is a 20-year-old 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill cat sanctuary / adoption agency currently being operated by a volunteer staff that has cared for and adopted over 9,500 homeless cats. We exist solely on support through donations from the people in our community. In addition, we sell retail pet supplies to help defray expenses. Profits go directly into the care of the cats in our possession, which is currently over 140.
